Redraw vs. Offset vs. LOC- which is better?
Understanding property finance πŸ‘‰12

I get asked this question often, which is the best option for managing cash flow: a redraw facility, an offset account or a Line of Credit? Let’s have a look.

While each option has its advantages and disadvantages, each may be better for different individuals under their unique circumstances. I personally prefer the offset account in the majority of cases for all the reasons mentioned previously. You have instant access to your cash and you can have multiple offset accounts for various purposes, like personal and property. Regardless of how you set up your offset accounts, they will still be reducing the interest you’re paying, which is a win any day.
