7/11 Risk 7: Fire🔥
Fire is a risk to a property but it’s something that can be avoided!
All homes these days must come with fire detectors installed. Ensure your property manager is organising regular checks of these detectors as well as looking for potential fire hazards at every routine inspection.Â
In addition, check that your building insurance covers you in the event of a fire. You can also ensure you’re buying brick homes rather than wood, as wood homes are more susceptible to fires and termites.
