To be a successful investor, you must think like the minority, not the majority. If you’ve been taking your advice from casual opinions at barbecues, the office break room, or your Aunt Marge, it’s time to stop.
Stop listening to people who haven’t done it and start listening to people who have.
Start learning what you really need to do to be successful from a reputable source. Find genuine mentors who are already successful and listen to them. Read wealth creation books. Listen to podcasts and webinars from people who have been on your journey and won.
