My Property Investment Tip #25

My Property Investment Tip #25
How To Buy A Property With ZERO Cash (of your own)
Method 5 of 4

Surprise! There’s another method of getting a property (or more) that maybe you haven’t thought of.
Compensation.

Now many of my clients are serving or Ex members of the Defence Force and one of the things they often overlook is compensation for injuries they incurred during their time in service.

But this doesn’t just only apply to them. It applies to everyone.

Many people also won’t make these claims while they’re still employed in the job because they don’t want to rock the boat.
But maybe you can now you’ve moved on.

If you were injured at work, you may be able to get a compensation payout from either DVA, your former employer, the state Workcover scheme, or even your insurances (inside or out of your superannuation).

Now of course I’m not a workplace injury lawyer so I can’t give you any advice on it. Only encourage you to check it out for yourself. If you need a workplace injury lawyer who does both Defence force and civilian claims, I do know a good one, but you can just also use Google.

Many will take a look at your claims for free, and then pursue them on your behalf under a no-win-no-fee arrangement.

Again, tread carefully here and make sure you get the right advice and shop around. But on the other side of it all you could end up with a large lump sum of money that could go towards several investment properties, that will in turn make you even more money.

Food for thought.

P.S. Serving ADF members and veterans can also use volunteer DVA advocates and get assistance with their claims for free. Again be careful who you choose though.
